Dr Esther Aspinall joined Glasgow Caledonian University in May 2013 as a researcher working in the blood borne virus research team. She is also a Speciality Registrar in Public Health based at NHS Ayrshire and Arran Health Board. Esther completed her undergraduate medical degree at the University of Edinburgh and has a Masters in Public Health from the University of Glasgow. She worked for five years in hospital medicine before joining the West of Scotland Public Health training programme in 2007. As a Public Health trainee she has worked in a variety of different areas, including service evaluation, prison health, immunisation and screening, and child protection.
