Dr Ann Corbett

Lecturer (PT) in Physiology
Ann graduated in Pharmacology from Glasgow University in 1978 and subsequently undertook a PhD at Robert Gordon’s University (Institute of Technology as it was then) working with Dr Keith Kendle on neuroendocrine control of the female reproductive cycle. In 1995, after a period raising her children, Ann took up a teaching post at GCU.

In her teaching roles, Ann has taught many subjects across several programmes and modules and at all levels both within the Department of Life Sciences and to programmes in other departments. Her main areas of teaching lie within general physiology.

In addition to teaching, Ann is the International Exchange Coordinator for Life Sciences. In this role Ann is involved with organizing studying abroad opportunities for GCU students and for studying at GCU for foreign students.
