Since 2009 AnneMarie Craig has been a lecturer in Adult Nursing and is currently the Academic Disability Coordinator within the Department of Nursing and Community Health. AnneMarie registered as a nurse in 1992 when she received a BSc (Honours) in Nursing from University of Abertay. A Master of Nursing graduate from University of Glasgow, AnneMarie also holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (Lecturer Practice Educator) from Glasgow Caledonian University, and is currently studying for a PhD with University of Manchester. AnneMarie has a particular interest in inclusivity and supporting students with disabilities, and this is the focus of her research.

As a clinician, AnneMarie has mainly worked within Renal Nursing prior to embarking on a career with an education focus. Prior to her current role, AnneMarie was the Renal Nurse Educator in Glasgow before she introduced and developed two new and innovative practice education roles, firstly as Lead Practice Education Facilitator (PEF), and subsequently Lead Nurse for Education to Practice.
