Anita’s current research and publication interests are in academic subject excellence; health workforce trends and needs, particularly the impact of technology and workforce support needs; and the potential for occupation to be a tool for wellbeing across large populations. Anita was a key contributor to the 2018 occupational therapy textbook Dancza, K. and Rodger, S. eds., 2018. Implementing occupation-centred practice: A practical guide for occupational therapy practice learning. Routledge.
Anita is also a member of the Australian Rehabilitation and Assistive Technology Association, having served on their Board during 2019. Anita is co-convener of the Occupational Therapy Australia’s inaugural 2020 Occupational Therapy Practice Exchange, which will take place in September 2020, and is part of Occupational Therapy Australia’s mentorship scheme as a mentor.
