GCU Crucible Programme for Early Career Researchers

  • ‌Are you a post-doctoral or post-prof doc early career researcher at GCU, based in the School of Health & Life Sciences (SHLS) or at the Yunus Centre for Social Business & Health?
  • Are you passionate about communicating your research and interested in learning how to engage with media, the public and policymakers?

We have an exciting career development opportunity based on the Scottish Crucible leadership and development course.

This three-day programme includes expert input from leading researchers in SHLS, Communications and Public Affairs, Research Impact and Knowledge Exchange, Community and Public Engagement, and culminates in a meeitng with policymakers at the Scottish Parliament.  Previous participants rated the programme extremely highly.
