The International Business with Languages degree from Glasgow Caledonian University brings you practical and research-based business and language teaching. You will have the opportunity to master two foreign languages including French, Spanish, German or Italian, to study abroad with your chosen languages via international study exchange, and to gain experience in the business, management and leadership skills you will use throughout your international business career.

Each application to GCU is considered on an individual basis. If you do not have the typical academic entry qualifications, but can demonstrate relevant work experience and/or credits from recognised professional bodies, you may be eligible to enter this course via the University's Recognition of Prior Learning scheme.

You will receive a range of individual and group assessments. Exams are used in some modules; however, many assignments are coursework based. You will be asked for written reports, presentations, portfolios, blogs and wikis on the subjects you are studying.
We provide experiential learning. This means that you get to take part in real-world projects, case studies and research-based assessments. You will find that this way of learning gives you an expertise that is easier to transfer into real life practice. Live case work can help improve your critical thinking in the business context.
