Mandy Sheridan, BA (Hons), Dip M, MSc, PGC LTHE is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Business Management. Mandy joined Glasgow Caledonian University in 2003 following extensive industry experience in various roles across buying and marketing. She is actively involved with teaching in the specialist subject group of Fashion, Marketing & Retailing across both Post Graduate and Undergraduate programmes. With a passion for new technologies and experiential learning in teaching practice, Mandy has been instrumental in the design and implementation of a fashion marketing simulation for the MSc International Fashion Marketing programme in the area of Strategic Marketing, one of her key teaching areas.
Mandy has considerable experience in working with articulating students and has recently been appointed Articulation LEAD for the Department of Management. She has conducted several research projects in widening access and enhancing the student experience in transition from College to GCU. Other research areas have focused on the retail sector including Farmers Markets.
Mandy is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
