Professor Rona Beattie’s main research and teaching interests are Human Resource Development and voluntary sector management. She has published and presented papers widely on these subjects. She also has experience of teaching in HRM and still retains a strong interest in HRM having recently edited a special edition of Public Management Review and being commissioned to co-edit a book on HRM in Public Service Organisations.
Professor Beattie is on the advisory or editorial board of a number of peer-reviewed journals.
She is also an external examiner for a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across the UK and a member of the CIPD's national marking team for learning and development.
