Dr. Niladri Palit is a Lecturer in Operations Management and Supply Chain Management. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, UK. and has been awarded a Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management from the University of Sheffield. Prior to this, he has been awarded MBA and MSc., from the University of Wollongong, Australia, and B.Eng. in Civil Engineering from Jadavpur University, India.
He has a wide range of teaching experience including subjects from operations management, supply chain management, operations research, and quantitative methods across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
His research interest is on the application of Mathematical Modelling for effective supply chain decision-making in the areas of supply chain coordination, minimization of the effects of catastrophic risk on the supply chain, and last mile decision issues in urban logistics issues. His research interest includes the application of tools and techniques from Operations Research specially Game Theory.
