Dr Peter Duncan has taught on a wide range of courses at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level. His teaching currently focuses on: strategic management; the strategic use of information systems; and innovation, creativity and enterprise. He is Programme Leader for the MSc Management of IT Innovation and the Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA)/Doctorate of Management (DMan) programmes. Dr Duncan also has a role as the School’s Postgraduate Research Tutor.
His teaching and research interests cover areas in the strategic use of information systems by professional services firms (PSFs) (particularly the legal services sector) and SMEs and in intellectual capital (IC) and its management, including the development and application of IC measurement/management systems.
Dr Duncan is a Member of the Association for Information Systems and a Member of the British Academy of Management.
