Diane Cook
Lecturer, International Fashion Marketing MSc Programme
Her teaching is underpinned by her industry experience both in large and small scale design and production. She works closely with the ‘Fashion Design with Business’ programme’s advisory board of external companies in project collaborations and competitions for the students as well as international student trips and work experience opportunities.
Diane has worked on numerous consultancy projects, mentored small businesses and is a director of the social enterprise, ‘Firefly Design’ which was recently set up to engage communities and craftsmanship. Diane’s research experience is in the area of ‘the creative process,’ using case study approaches to demystify sources of inspiration in the design process and the different stages of developing a fashion collection.
