Aileen Stewart has been lecturer in Fashion Marketing at Glasgow Caledonian University since 2007. She received her BSc in Clothing from Heriot Watt University (Scottish Borders Campus) in 1992, her MSc Fashion Marketing in 2006 and in 2010, she completed her PgC LTHE both from Glasgow Caledonian University. Stewart has worked in higher education since 1992, previously working as a technical manager, while lecturing part-time on practical and industry based fashion subjects. She currently teaches a variety of subjects including, Fashion Theories and Marketing Concepts, Developing New Fashion Markets and Products and International Fashion Buying and Logistics and CAD. Complimenting this Stewart has worked on a variety of consultancy projects which have ranged from new product development, trend analysis and consumer buyer behaviour projects. She uses this mix of practical skills and fashion marketing theoretical knowledge to compliment her teaching and pass on her enthusiasm for fashion to students.
