Kumbi Enrolled for the 1+3 PhD program in 2009 and completed the Master of research in 2010.She is currently undertaking her research in operational risk management in banks with special emphasis on the human side of operational risk

Equipped with a Bachelor of Commerce accounting degree and an Honours Accounting degree from the University of South Africa Kumbi was awarded the prestigious Karen Napier Scholarship to study for MSc Investment Analysis at the University of Stirling in 2006 and successfully completed the course and graduated with a distinction in December 2007.On Completion she joined the HSBC market data pricing team until August 2009.
