The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is the world's largest HR membership organisation devoted to human resource management; representing more than 275,000 members in over 160 countries with subsidiary offices in China, India and United Arab Emirates (SHRM, 2015).  SHRM has officially confirmed that Glasgow Caledonian University’s MSc International Human Resource Management (IHRM) and MSc Human Resource (HRM) programmes fully align with SHRM's HR curriculum guidelines.

Glasgow Caledonian University was the first institution in the UK to achieve SHRM's recognition of curriculum alignment at postgraduate level and is one of only two UK institutions to be recognised by the body.  As a recognised institution, Glasgow Caledonian University bears the well-earned hallmark that accompanies SHRM's rigorous standards for contemporary and professionally relevant curriculum guidelines, which are also endorsed by the AACSB International (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business).  Our MSc International HRM programme was the first postgraduate programme in the UK to achieve this accolade.  There are only thirteen institutions outside the US at postgraduate level, with SHRM recognition of curriculum alignment.
