Specialisms and Interests
I was the Learning, Teaching and Assessment Strategy (LTAS) Coordinator for the department from 2003 until 2009. I have redesigned and enhanced consumer behaviour modules throughout the years including the masters module Consumer Behaviour and Sustainability, to enhance the important agenda of consumer ethics and sustainable consumption. I am also one of the School’s Sustainability champions. I continue to take a keen interest in Learning and Teaching excellence and keep up to date with innovative teaching methods. I am currently a Caledonian Scholar and was awarded the title in 2011 for a project exploring post graduate employability. I won an award for Best Poster of the results of this research with my colleague Pauline Bell at the GCU Learning and Teaching showcase in 2013.
