The BSc (Hons) Information Technology for Business (ITMB) is an applied computing degree which produces graduates with the distinct specialist knowledge and skills required to develop and support information systems for business.

It is targeted at meeting the key requirements employers have identified for IT and business aware graduates who also have an understanding of project and management skills.

The central theme of the degree is the application of IT to business. It therefore provides students with opportunities to develop a wide range of technical and engineering skills while also providing them with a broad understanding of business-centred information systems and the business models, needs and organisational structures these systems support.
