Retail partners launch fund for GCU entrepreneurs

retailRIGHT and Hammerson are offering GCU students and alumni the opportunity to apply for funding and support to take their retail business ideas to the next level.

Aspiring entrepreneurs with ambitions to start their own retail business have the chance to access a share of a £30,000 seed funding pot as well as pop-up shop space in one of the UK’s top shopping centres.

The seed funding opportunity is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students at GCU and GCU London, plus alumni who graduated within the past five years. Interested candidates can apply online and share their idea and the level of support required. The deadline for applications is Thursday 31 May at 5pm. Shortlisted candidates will be notified in June and invited to present their business idea to an industry panel in July.
