Lorna_Sangrar_300pxWhat kind of challenge are you planning to do and why?

I’m going to start at midnight and run a kilometre on the hour for 24 hours. I’d like to do something challenging having been cooped up in the house for so long over lockdown so this will motivate me to get out and train in preparation.

What motivated you to take part – either personal or philanthropic?

I’ve spoken to a lot of students during the pandemic who are in desperate need of support so I really wanted to do something to help them. The Common Good Campaign is a great way to do that, especially when everything I raise will be topped up by 50%.

How are you preparing for your challenge?

I’ve been going out running but will definitely have to up my game to prepare my legs for it. I should probably start training for the lack of sleep as well though – that might end up being even more of a challenge…
