As part of the commitment to mainstreaming,  have been appointed to ensure that the University’s central resource for supporting equality and diversity is complemented by a network of local School and Directorate contacts across the University.

The Champions work with the Equality and Diversity Advisor to develop and manage an action plan for each School/Directorate, and support Deans, Directors and the senior management group in the School or Directorate to promote equality and diversity across School/Directorate activities including teaching, research, supporting staff, supporting students and external relations.
