Our staff

Our team have a wide range of backgrounds, from science and engineering to neuropsychology and human geography. We all work to improve learning, teaching and general knowledge about climate justice.

Centre for Climate Justice

Karin leads our MSc in Climate Justice. She has an interdisciplinary background in gender studies and environmental management. Her current research interests mainly relate to water and wastewater management in a climate change context.

As well as conducting her PhD on gender and climate justice in Malawi, Eilidh play's an integral role in the Centre's research projects such as Climate Change and COVID-19 in Malawi and Rwanda (CCC19).

Dr George Loumakis

Dr George Loumakis supports the Centre's research activities in renewable energy, conventional energy sources, energy in buildings, energy sustainability, life cycle analysis, energy systems and the environment, quantitative research methods as well as public engagement and science communication.
