Marie SkÅ‚odowska-Curie Individual Fellowships

Call for expressions of interest

Glasgow Caledonian University's Centre for Climate Justice invites expressions of interest for the Horizon 2020 Marie Sk
Å‚odowska-Curie Individual Fellowships scheme.

Individual Fellowships provide opportunities to postdoctoral researchers of any nationality to acquire and new skills and work on research in Europe (EU Member States and Horizon 2020 Associated Countries) and beyond. The scheme particularly supports the return and (re)integration of European researchers from outside Europe and those who have previously worked here, as well as researchers displaced by conflict outside the EU and Horizon 2020 Associated Countries. The scheme also supports those returning to research after a break in their career (due to parenting or displacement, for instance)  These Fellowships can also include a period of up to 3 months in another European University or organisation, where this would boost the impact of the fellowship. This scheme is meant to support the best, most promising individual researchers from anywhere in the world.

Applications to the scheme must be made jointly by the researcher and the host organisation/supervisor. The final submission deadline to the scheme is 12 September 2018, however, applications will need to be completed by early August for internal review. Further details on the scheme can be found here (pages 13-16): http://ec.europa.eu/research/participants/data/ref/h2020/wp/2018-2020/main/h2020-wp1820-msca_en.pdf
