Dr Morag Ferguson

Associate Dean Learning, Teaching & Quality
Dr Morag Ferguson is a chartered Physicist who started her career in industry as an Optical Designer in Barr & Stroud Ltd, before moving to GCU in 1992. In 2002 Morag moved from The Department of Physical Sciences to the newly formed Department of Creative Technologies, which is now part of Computer, Communications and Interactive Systems (CCIS). She has recently been appointed as Assistant Head: Strategy for Learning and Digital Futures and is manager of the School LDC. Morag also has an interest in Community and Public Engagement activities (C&PE), and was formerly a C&PE Fellow in the School. Morag's research interests are primarily in educational research and community engagement, with a particular focus on collaborative creativity. Morag was appointed Associate Dean for Learning, Teaching and Quality in October 2018.
