Kiana Kargar
PhD Researcher
The aim of Kianna's project is to develop a viable analytical method in order to elucidate the significance of key antibiotics in the clyde catchment area. This project will build on the expertise gained by the team currently working on the EU/Interreg (PILLS) project on the pharmaceuticals in hospital wastewater, but targeting certain antibiotics such as erythromycin which have proven to be problematic, partly due to their instability during sample extraction.
