Brian Hainey

Brian Hainey is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computing but was previously Assistant Head of Department (Software Engineering).
He is an experienced Software Engineer, Lecturer, IT Trainer and Manager.

Brian has almost 30 years of teaching experience and has worked for commercial organisations such as Nat West Bank, Hewlett Packard and IBM. He has an MSc in Digital Techniques, is a chartered engineer, a chartered physicist and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
