Careers Service Commitment to Equality and Diversity

The aim of GCU Careers is to encourage and develop a wide range of skills and experience. In the pursuit of our aims, we seek to create a community in which diversity is valued and which both reflects and provides the needs of the broader community in which we operate. GCU Careers is committed to making its services and resources accessible to all. Should any user have difficulty in accessing any of our services please speak to a member of staff. The Equality and Diversity Champion for GCU Careers is Ellen Gibson.

The Careers Service recognises and accepts its responsibilities under the law. The main legislation is outlined in the Equality Act 2010 The policy aims to provide equality of opportunity regardless of age, colour, ethnic origin, family responsibility, gender, marital status, nationality, race, religion, sexual orientation, socio-economic status or disability. We also work within the Code of Practice and equal opportunities policy of our professional body AGCAS.
