Dr Ing Liang joined the Glasgow Caledonian University in 2008 as a lecturer in Sustainable Design and Construction. Prior to taking up his position here, he worked as a Research Fellow at Warwick University specialising in Technology Assessments for Radically Improving the Built Asset base. Ing Liang gained his PhD from Ulster University in 2008 where he also worked as a postgraduate tutor. His previous work included working as a construction contract consultant and cost control quantity surveyor for James R. Knowles, based in Malaysia and Taiwan. His research interest cover: Renewable energy technologies for building applications, Computer energy simulations, Numerical modelling, Life cycle costing, Risk analysis, Building assessment and Sustainability in buildings.
