Why did you choose GCU?
It offered the Dietetics and Human Nutrition Course close to home. I couldn’t travel outwith Glasgow due to childcare limitations.
How would you describe your experience at GCU?
Great! I loved it! The course has a variety of teaching methods and great lectures to help you learn the subject well.
What are your fondest memories of GCU?
Standing in the lecture theatre running on the spot and humming a tune with hundreds of other students, as part of our Physiology Lecture with Les Wood. He did things a bit different :) which was great!
How would you describe the quality of the teaching and support you received from GCU?
Very good. The lectures were very approachable as was the past and present course leader.
Can you tell us how you coped with the transition to online learning during the pandemic?
With difficulty as my son was off school for months and I had my fourth year to complete with Honours Project included. I was very tired too, due to being unwell in March. I assume this was Covid as they weren't testing everyone at that time.
