Tell us in more detail what your role entails, what challenges you currently face, and how you are finding ways to cope.

My Pickle helps anyone facing crisis in the UK to find support. It is a publicly-sourced, free and not-for-profit website that gathers, reviews and shares recommendations and stories. The site has already acquired over 1,600 recommendations for national services and resources, signposting major issues such as health, relationships, employment, mental well-being and finances.

The website is already making a significant, positive impact on the lives of those struggling to cope during the crisis. At you can find over 350 resources supporting those worst affected by COVID-19.  You can find emergency financial relief and debt advice, support for families and mental well-being services, and bereavement support for anyone that has lost a loved one. Another useful resource is the “Coronavirus Help Handout”, a simple summary of key resources that can be printed and shared with others in person or online.

Do you have a top tip for coping at a time of crisis? Or a few words of advice or support for fellow students and alumni on the front line?

Don’t be afraid to ask for help or get support. This is a very difficult and challenging time but there is help out there.  Visit for a simple summary of key resources for yourself or to share with others.
