Tell us in more detail what your role entails, what challenges you currently face, and how you are finding ways to cope.

I am trained as a scrub nurse in cardiac surgery and as an anaesthetic nurse/circulating nurse. I also do on call for emergencies. At the moment i am upskilling in cardiac icu to help deal with the crisis at the moment which is very intense.

Do you have a top tip for coping at a time of crisis? Or a few words of advice or support for fellow students and alumni on the front line?

Ways I am coping - Lots of rest & sleep, try the best that we can do in the middle of this pandemic and thinking of future plans for when this is all over.
