Mark Hogarth is a geopolitics graduate from Ayrshire in Scotland who works in the fashion and textiles industry as a brand specialist.

He has been creative director of Harris Tweed Hebrides since 2008 and has a brand consultancy in fashion and textiles, although the vast majority of his work is as part of the multi award-winning Harris Tweed Hebrides team that have been credited with transforming the unique heritage industry.

Mark spent several years in East Asia working as a model and stylist where clients included Kenzo, Issey Miyake and Commes Des Garcons. Japanese design philosophy has had a permanent influence throughout his career.

In addition to working with Harris Tweed, Mark has been an Ambassador for Johnnie Walker Black Label and content creator for luxury leatherwear company Ettinger. He sits on the Advisory Council of The Campaign for Wool and was featured in The Macallan Conversations Make The Call campaign in 2018/19.  He was selected as a judge for prestigious Drum Roses Awards 2021.

Mark Hogarth was born and raised on a farm in Ayrshire and lives in Glasgow. He is a keen cyclist, rugby and football fan.  Other interests include travel, style, the circular economy and geopolitics.
