While many staff development needs are covered by other teams within the University - Academic Development, the Graduate School, teh Library, or in-school staff - we will occasionally offer staff development workshops tailored specifically to the needs of the Education Research Community. We all know that starting to write for publication can be challenging – what journal, what focus, what to include, what to exclude, editing, formatting, communicating with editors, revising … not to mention setting aside time to actually write. The list is endless. Help and support is at hand in the form of this workshop from the Educational Research and Evaluation Team.

This afternoon session mixed practical advice with an opportunity to focus on your own writing for a few hours. There were opportunities to share experience and ask questions, access one to one support from experienced researchers, and to identify peers across the University who can provide support as you begin to write for publication.
