A CPD workshop series for new academic staff
The Department of Academic Quality and Development offers a new series of workshops for academic staff who are new to teaching or would like to refresh their knowledge and skills to make sure their students have a good learning experience.
The series comprises five 2-hour workshops which are supported by pre- and post- workshop online activities.
The timetable below gives details of the dates for the next series.All workshops will be held in Room H116, William Harley building.

A short, online CPD opportunity for new academic staff
The Department of Academic Quality and Development is offering a new fully online CPD opportunity for new academic staff to explore notions their own digital capability.
The bite sized (maximum of half an hour per day) course will provide staff with:
- an overview and understanding of digital literacy, skills and capabilities
- a framework to contextualize personal digital capabilities and confidence
- an opportunity to identify development needs in terms of developing digital capabilities
- an opportunity to share, reflect and learn from peers.
