As part of the Glasgow International Jazz Festival, Polyphony, a music charity with close links to GCU via a research project based in the department of psychology, is having an open day at Gartnaval Royal Hospital on Tuesday June 22nd .
Polyphony provide access to musical activities for individuals with mental health problems. The event will be opened by Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon MSP and will include a short presentation from Anne Hawkins, Director of the Greater Glasgow and Clyde Mental Health Partnership.
The event will also include a demonstration of music workshop activities and a short concert.
