Toby Paterson

Glasgow School of Art graduate Toby, whose stunning wall paintings feature prominently in the university’s Saltire Centre, is planning talks on public art and interactive workshops with students and staff during 2012. He works in a number of forms, from large-scale wall paintings to smaller sculptural works and paintings on Perspex. His work is influenced by the built environment, in particular post-war architecture, and the notion of integrating art and architecture. He won the Beck’s Futures prize in 2002.
