Student Surveys at GCU

National Student Survey

NSS 2017 logoWhat is the NSS?

The National Student Survey (NSS) is an independent, UK-wide initiative carried out by market research firm Ipsos MORI. The survey asks final year undergraduate students to provide feedback about their overall university experience.

The NSS is your opportunity to give your opinions on your time at GCU!

There are a number of core questions, relating to aspects of your experience such as the teaching on your course, assessment & feedback, academic support and a number of other key areas.

You are also given the opportunity to give positive and/or negative comments on your overall learning experience at the end of the questionnaire.

The next NSS will take place in early 2018.

How can I take part?

You are eligible for the National Student Survey (NSS) if you are a final year undergraduate or are on a flexible part-time programme.

All eligible students will be invited to take part via an email sent by Ipsos. You can also check out your eligibility and take part by visiting the NSS website.

What happens with my feedback?

Your feedback will be passed on, anonymously, to the University to help us identify how we can continue to enhance the student experience at GCU. NSS results are also made publicly available to help prospective students make informed decisions about where and what to study.
