Paying for course tuition
Tuition fees need to be paid to the university however some students are eligible for tuition fee support.
Fees and funding support
If applying for funding support from the Student Awards Agency for Scotland or your Local Education Authority, you need to apply before each year of study - not simply the first year. If repeating a year or if you have previously completed a degree, you may not be eligible for the kind of fee support you once received.
For some courses, there may be extra costs such as equipment and placement expenses. You will also have to think about accommodation, living costs, travel, books and socialising.
There are support options available to help with course fees and the cost of study, depending on which type of study you are undertaking:
- Undergraduate course fees
- Postgraduate course fees
- Part-time course fees
- International course fees
- Higher Degrees
- Repeating Outstanding Modules
- Leaving your course/Taking time out
