Welcome from the International Student Support Service

We would like to welcome you to Glasgow Caledonian University and into our International Community. We provide support and advice for all international students. We have daily drop-in sessions (no appointment required) where you can come and speak to an adviser. Appointments are also available: please contact the base to book an appointment.

VISA ADVICE Immigration and Visa Advice should be given only by the trained staff in ISSS, if you have been given guidance from anyone else, please contact ISSS directly.

Home Office changes

The Home Office Immigration rules changed on 22nd February 2010. Please attend an visa workshop or drop-in session to seek up-to-date visa advice from ISSS.

IMPORTANT: From 1st February, you are now required to show your maintenance (money/funds) in a bank account in your name for a full 28 days.

If your visa expires within the next two months, please use ISSS to process your visa application. We run visa specific workshops. To book an appointment to submit your visa, please contact the base. Please note that after the VISA DEADLINE, you will be required to post your visa application yourself.
