Student ICT Skills

To be effective as a student you will need to use Information and Communications Technology (ICT) effectively. You will certainly use some general applications such as word processing, email and the internet. Depending on your programme, you may also use specialist technology and equipment. General support and information for basic, general ICT Skills is displayed here and this can help you to gain more confidence to use ICT in other ways.

If you require help and advice on any application not listed please Contact Us.

To assess your skill level for most applications you can complete the ICT Skills Self-Evaluation form which is in my.Caledonian. You just need to answer a few "Can You Do" questions and submit the form, this will give you instant feedback on your skill level and training requirements.
