How do I submit the form?

Forms can be completed electronically but cannot be submitted electronically as students are required to sign the declaration at the end of the form.

When do I need to submit the form by?

There are deadlines for the submission of CSFFs in each semester. The deadlines for session 2011-2012 are as follows:

  • If the affected assessment takes place in Trimester A, you are required to submit your CSFF no later than 13 January 2012.
  • If the affected assessment takes place in Trimester B, you are required to submit your CSFF no later than 11 May 2012.
  • If the affected assessment takes place in Trimester C/in the resit diet, you are required to submit your CSFF no later than 24 August 2012.
  • Where assessments are scheduled in September (e.g. Postgraduate dissertations, placements) you are required to submit your CSFF no later than 5 working days after the submission/assessment date, stating the date of your submission/assessment.

Where your circumstances are ongoing, e.g. from Trimester A to B, you are required to submit a CSFF and supporting evidence in each semester affected.

What do I need to do before submitting the CSFF?

You are encouraged to take a photocopy of your CSFF for your records.

Enclose the form and supporting evidence in an envelope marked "Confidential".

Where do I send the completed form?

You can submit your CSFF and supporting evidence in the following ways. In all cases, you will receive an e-mail confirming receipt of your form:

For programmes within the following Schools:

Glasgow School for Business and Society (GSBS):

By drop off in the School 'Special Factors' collection boxes in the Hamish Wood Building. The boxes are available on the first floor (outside the lifts) and the fifth floor (outside the lifts) of the building.

By post to the Programmes Office, Glasgow School for Business and Society,  Glasgow Caledonian University, Cowcaddens Road, Glasgow G4 0BA.

School of Engineering and Built Environment (SEBE):

By drop off in the ‘Special Factors’ postbox outside the Programmes Office M209

By post to the CSFF Administrator, School Office, M217, School of Engineering and Built Environment,  Glasgow Caledonian University, Cowcaddens Road, Glasgow G4 0BA

School of Health and Life Sciences (HLS):

By drop off in the ‘Special Factors’ collection box (outside A506, 5th Floor, Govan Mbeki Building)

By post to CSFF Submission, School of Health and Life Sciences, Glasgow,Caledonian University, Cowcaddens Road, Glasgow G4 0BA

Arrangements for programmes within the LEAD (Learning Enhancement and Academic Development) Centre

By post to the Programme Administrator, Room H113G, Level 1, William Harley Building.

You may also submit your form to The Base on the Ground Floor of the Saltire Centre.
