Disability Team
GCU is committed to providing an inclusive student experience, which offers all students the opportunity to achieve their full potential.
The Disability Team provides advice, information and services to disabled students and applicants. Each year, around 1200 GCU students disclose a disability. This includes students with long term medical conditions, sensory impairment, mental health difficulties, physical impairment, specific learning disabilities (e.g. dyslexia) and students on the autism spectrum.
The Disability Team is committed to promoting the development of independent learning skills and supports disabled students in the identification and application of appropriate strategies, tools and services towards this end. For further information regarding our approach to supporting students, see the ‘Rights and Responsibilities’ section
