Internet Access for Students Resident at Caledonian Court

Internet access for students resident in Caledonian Court is now available via a hard wired connection; that is an Ethernet cable.

The Wireless System previously in use has been completely removed and is no longer available in any of the living blocks.

Wireless access to the internet is still available on campus.

To achieve internet access you must first register your hard wired MAC address and ensure that you are in possession of an Ethernet cable.  If you are not in possession of an Ethernet cable please see the Accommodations Office.

Once you have successfully registered your hard wired MAC address we would recommend that you disable the wireless function on your laptop/pc whilst within Caledonian Court.  If you do not there is a chance that you could pick up a wireless signal from buildings adjacent or near to Caledonian Court.

When accessing the Internet you will be asked to provide your login details for security purposes.  If you encounter any problems with this process please refer to the following guide: web authentication.
