Updating your address on campus or by post
Complete this form and post or hand it in to the Academic Registry desk or the Base.
Updating your address by email
You can email studentrecords@gcu.ac.uk to update your permanent home address, term address, phone numbers and the name, address and phone number of the person you’d like us to contact in an emergency. You must include:
- student ID number
- full name
- full address (including postcode)
- whether this is now your permanent and/or term-time and/or emergency contact address
- any change to your phone number(s), including mobile, and personal email address
- If changing your term address, you also need to tell us which of these best describes your new accommodation for statistical purposes:
Own residence
Parental/guardian home
Other rented accommodation
Private Sector halls
Not in attendance at the institution (e.g. you are on full year placement)
Other
Change of name or marital status
If you change your name or your marital status, we need to see your marriage certificate, divorce papers, passport, birth certificate or driving licence. Bring it and your matriculation card to The Academic Registry desk and we will change your details.
If you prefer, you can fax a copy to 0141 331 3449, scan an electronic version to studentrecords@gcu.ac.uk or post it to The Academic Registry. Make sure you include a note of your student ID, name and the details that have changed.
