Special Collections Requests

Requests procedure
To request a Special Collections item, please complete the form.

Special Collections staff will try to make items requested
before 1.00,Monday to Thursday,  available from 2.00 to 4.30 that day and make
items requested
after 1.00 Monday to Thursday,  available from 9.30 to 12.30 next working day

If there are problems we will try and contact you.

Please note, we may not be able to provide access to Special Collections on Friday afternoon.

You will be asked to come to the Custodian's Desk (Level 1 Saltire Centre) at the agreed time to complete the necessary procedures.

Unless otherwise directed, please consult the item in the Research Collections Consultation Room on level 4 of the Saltire Centre.
