A career in physiotherapy is one that challenges caring, self-motivated people to achieve their potential by learning and working with a number of different groups. At Glasgow Caledonian, we prepare students to work in all branches of the discipline, but particularly to work with patients in the health service and in the community.

As a physiotherapist, you will use physical means to prevent and treat injury and the results of disease. This rewarding career will bring you into daily contact with patients and requires you to be physically active, have a genuine interest in health and science and exhibit care, patience and professionalism at all times.

After graduating, you can apply for registration with the Health Professions Council and for membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. Our graduates have also successfully registered in other countries around the world.
