International Students
The School of Engineering & Computing welcomes students from all over the world, they make up an ever-increasing section of our cosmopolitan student population. In fact, the university as a whole sees students coming from over 80 countries throughout the world, enriching the lives of staff and students with many views and cultures.
We are proud of the high number of students who come from abroad to study on our programmes, in particular for postgraduate masters and doctorate studies. To help you through your studies, School scholarships and other initiatives such as the Scottish International Scholarship Programme may be available.

Supporting your studies
Support for your studies is available both at School level and centrally through the university international student advisory service. Our International Student Advisory Service are able to help you from the day you are accepted at the university, providing information on visas, working and other important details you need to know.
Within the School we provide an international tutor and additional technical writing sessions specifically for Computing and Engineering students among other sessions.
