Postgraduate work based learning programmes aim to maximise learners potential to develop new knowledge and skills which can be applied directly to their workplace. The programmes are not taught in the traditional sense, though we can and do provide taught inputs in the workplace or in the university, whichever the organisation prefers.
The learning is supported by a range of academics from the university who provide subject specific content in named academic areas. Assessment is negotiated allowing actual work based problems to become the focus of assignments. Usually, programmes are delivered through a mix of workshops, online learning and directed learning as appropriate to each subject area or programme theme. There are a range of options:
