Work Based Learning: Business Connections
Dr Robert Crawford
Executive Director of Business Development and
Commercialisation,
Glasgow Caledonian University
Dr
Crawford will explore the relationship between skills
growth and productivity increases. This will include a
consideration of some positive examples based on his own
experience. He will suggest ways that the enterprise
agencies and businesses can engage more closely with
further and higher education. Finally he will offer a
critical look at the dominant approach to skills
development in Scotland thus far.
