Citizen's Arrest
Author: E.Rich and Rev1
Mr. Bush - I charge you with the wilful murder of the 1900 Americans who
died for your lies
Proposed in the project for a new America none of us wanted
You should be haunted by their faces when you lay down to sleep at night
The ghosts of those you sent to death you have no respect for human life
There is no number for the Mothers and children that you smothered
With soot from their destroyed neighborhoods
The senseless slaughter of Iraq's daughters
Millions left behind with no food or no water
For you and your ideology, you ain't no Christian
Let it sink in deep, your morals are missing
Thou shalt not murder, May it haunt you in the afterlife
The right is not right, you say we have a right to life
Then right the wrongs it's the some old song and dance
With the devil you'll soon have your chance to sing along
As I chant this chorus the world forms a bond
And you can no longer ignore it it's on,
We're waging peace on America for the sake of us all,
Your murderous ways will soon be your downfall
HOOKx2:
Lock him up (lock him up) and throw away the key
Sentence him to prison for eternity
(Bloodthirsty) no repentance for his murdering
It's a new American century
E.RICH:
Mr. Bush - I charge with criminal negligence
In the death of over 1000 Americans on our own soil
Here at home, we're left to fend for ourselves while
Our defence is preoccupied with foreign oil
You can't deny it you didn't bat an eyelid or lift a finger
To keep this disaster from getting bigger
And now that your party's over you do a fly over
Kanye said it best, you don't like broke niggas
Well, I hope your satisfied that some of them died
Cause they're gonna rise, so don't be surprised
You sick schmuck, when they arrive in DC with their fists up
You killed their children, (you sick schmuck)
You dare act like it couldn't be prevented
You did the best you could to flood the hood, is that what you intended?
When you appointed Brownie
Could you fathom the thought of your own daughters downing?
HOOKx2
REV1:
Mr. Bush, I charge you with a violation
Of the human rights declaration the United Nations
Set forth in 1948, specifically
Articles twenty-five and twenty-three as they relate to poverty
And it's not an infraction it's a travesty
Inaction leads to disaster on the daily
And it was obvious in new Orleans
That poverty itself is a crime against human beings
The real tragedy is every day people die from being poor
Without a natural catastrophe
Mr. Bush you gotta stop that
Policies benefit monopoly tycoons wearin' top hats
Not blacks or whites that live below the poverty line
Plus you tried to take away our overtime
You got us starving with no health care
While Halliburton share holders throw they hands up yellin hell yeah
HOOKx2
E.RICH:
BRIDGE:
Take it to your grave you made man
Look at the world you made man
It's no mystery
That that this is going down in history
As the worst crime of the century
