The Base

The Base is the enquiry desk on level 0 of the Saltire Centre. You can get lots of information from the links on the left, and even more from the student home page, but if you can’t find what you need, please ask at The Base. Our staff there will:

answer some of your questions right away and tell you about some of the services you can use
refer you to these services or make appointments for you
give you forms you might need, for example to ask for financial help
help with queries about systems like MyCaledonian, e-mail and Blackboard
give you basic IT information and refer you for help with other equipment
show you how to use the library catalogue and other library services
give you username/passwords and refer you to your librarian for finding information
borrow and return items including Laptops and Audio-Visual equipment:
