Money
Help with different aspects of funding, fees and managing your money is availble on the money pages or by contacting Funding Information & Advice.
Accommodation
Contact the Accommodation Office for all student accommodation queries.
IT Issues
Contact the Information Service Desk if you have problems with usernames and passwords or other IT issues.
Academic Registry
Academic Registry deals with joining packs, matriculation cards, registration, your student record and more.
The International Student Support Service offers advice and help for international students before they arrive and whilst they are studying at GCU.
Effective Learning Service
Get free and impartial advice to help improve your learning and study skills.
Mentoring
Mentoring and study support is available to help with the transition to university from school or college
Just need to talk to someone
The student Mental Health and Wellbeing service is also available to answer any questions.
Students' Association
Glasgow Caledonian University Students' Association (GCUSA) offers a whole range of services that you could need during your time at university. Services include a welfare department for advice or support, a sports union and several bars with catering services.
Library
Check out the library website, use the library catalogue or contact your librarian.
Facilities Management
Contact ‘Facilities Helpdesk’ for any queries regarding building maintenance, domestic services, security, fire procedures, disabled parking, lockers etc.
Health & Fitness
Contact the Arc to find out about the membership options and the classes and services they offer.
The base (Saltire Centre - level 0) is your starting point for all sorts of enquiries. Staff there can give you information or make an appointment with specialist services. It's a really good place to start if you don't know where to go.
You can also speak to your school contacts and they'll happily point you in the right direction.
